CHICAGO – Robert Morris University Illinois Head Women’s Soccer Coach Tom Czop has announced the signing of Delaney Anderson of Machesney Park, Illinois for the 2018 season.

Anderson is a defender from Harlem High School, where she helped lead her team to regional championships in 2015 and 2016.  Individually she was the team’s Defensive MVP and also earned All-Sectional First Team and All-Conference Special Team honors this past spring.  Anderson is also a member of the Rockford Raptors club team, continuing the long-tradition of Raptors coached by Frank Mateus and Hugh Ward to join the RMU program.

“Delaney is a skilled and smart defender and we are extremely happy that she has chosen to attend RMU,” said Czop.  “She reads the very game well and she is also a strong 1v1 defender.  Coming from the Raptors program and coach Frank Mateus, she has all of the tools and knowledge to be successful at the collegiate level.”
