CHICAGO – Robert Morris University Illinois Head Women’s Soccer Coach Tom Czop has announced the signing of Shannon Narolewski of Strongsville, Ohio for the 2018 season.

Narolewski is a central midfielder who will graduate from Strongsville High School and she brings a strong club background with her to RMU.  The new Eagle and her Cleveland Futbol Club have won seven consecutive Ohio North State Cup Championships and are also two-time Midwest Region II Champions (2014 & 2017) and a two-time U.S. National Semi-finalist, including a third place finish in 2017.

“We are extremely excited to have a player of Shannon’s pedigree join our program,” said Czop.  “She comes from a very well coached and successful club, where she played an important role in helping lead her team to a third place finish at nationals this past summer.  Her experience and knowledge of the game should make her transition to the college game an easy one.”

The incoming freshman has also worked hard off of the field, volunteering at Strongsville High School for Mustang Camps, Development Camps, Sunday Skills for Smurfs, and DECA Association.  She also has helped out at the St. Ignatius High School Concession Stand and will be an assistant coach this fall for North Royalton City PeeWee Soccer.
