Chicago – The National Women's Lacrosse League (NWLL) announced that Robert Morris' Meghan Brady has been named NWLL Player of the Week for the week ending March 3^rd.  Meghan is the first recipient of the award for the 2013 NWLL season.

Meghan, a freshman midfielder from St. Charles, red-shirted last season after suffering an ACL injury but she has started this season off strong helping the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 record on opening weekend.  Brady recorded 11 goals, 18 draw controls, three ground balls, two assists, and caused three turnovers in RMU's wins over Lindenwood University-Belleville, Missouri Baptist University, and Midland University (Neb.). 

The award was nominated and voted on by multiple coaches in the NWLL.
