The Robert Morris Illinois Men's Soccer team fell 4-2 versus Calumet College at St. Joseph Wednesday September 27th.

RMU looking for their first CCAC victory, got multiple early shots putting the pressure on the Crimson Wave defense.  Maximilian Never (JR/Munich, Germany) put a shot on goal in the 12th minute saved by Roy Gean.  In the 16th minute CCSJ was able to strike first on a cross from right of the box and a shot to the far post past Andrew Fletcher (SR/Valparaiso, Ind.).  Crimson Wave extended their lead to two in the 32nd minute as he split the defense and shot far post to take a 2-0 lead.  RMU couldn't get any closer and trailed 2-0 at halftime.

In the second half, RMU would strike first on a header from Adrian Wnorowski (FR/Addison, Ill.) from Maximilian Never on a free kick to get within one, 2-1.  Eagles would tie it up at 2 in the 70th minute, Michell Corona (SR/Chicago, Ill.) would tap it in off the corner from Irving Balboa (SR/Wheeling, Ill.).  The Crimson Wave would answer in the 74th minute to take a 3-2 lead.  In the 84th minute CCSJ was able to get an insurance goal on a header off the corner kick to win 4-2.

Adrian Wnorowski and Michell Corona each scored goals, with Irving Balboa and Maximillian Never having assists.  Andrew Fletcher made three saves on the night. 

RMU falls to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in CCAC play.  

The Eagles next match is the Saturday September 30th at 2:30pm at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbannais, Ill.
