The RMU Gold hockey team is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Wickersham to the coaching staff.

After completing his playing career as a defenseman for NCAA D3 St. Mary's in Minnesota, Chris spent the next 10 years coaching, training, and helping hockey players reach their goals. He cites renowned training innovator Jack Blatherwick as his primary coaching mentor and inspiration. Chris has spent time coaching AAA, Junior (USHL), and Collegiate (NCAA) hockey.  Many of Chris' former players have moved up the ranks and played Division 1 hockey, including a handful of players who were selected in the NHL Draft.  For the past two seasons, Chris has worked with Aurora University's NCAA D3 team.

"We feel very fortunate to add someone with Chris's background to the staff," said head coach Chico Adrahtas. "Our players will benefit greatly from his experience and teaching ability."

Wickersham's primary responsibility will be the development of the Eagles' defensemen, and he will have significant input in the team's off-ice training.
