KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that 395 women's softball student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Softball Scholar-Athletes and Robert Morris Illinois had five student-athletes earn this honor.  The Eagles who received the award are listed below.

Megan Ricketts (JR/Tinley Park, Ill.)
Katlyn Sebastian (JR/Tinley Park, Ill.)
Shannon Sinde (JR/Lansing, Ill.)
Emily Smith (JR/Rockford, Mich.)
* denotes repeat selection

In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
