CHICAGO – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference has named Jannah Mahmoud (JR/Oak Lawn, Ill.) of Robert Morris Illinois as the CCAC Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 12th. This is the second time this season that the junior forward has received this award.
With a potential playoff bid on the line, Mahmoud averaged a double-double with 27.0 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to go along with 4.0 assists and 4.0 blocks per contest in two conference wins. She also shot .568 from the field, going 25-of-44 on the week.
Mahmoud produced 25 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in a 67-61 victory over South Loop rival over Roosevelt University on February 8th before delivering a double-double in an 80-75 win over Saint Ambrose University on February 11th. In the Saint Ambrose win, she totaled 29 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks, three assists, and two steals.
