ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Robert Morris Illinois Men's Bowling team traveled to Allentown, Pennsylvania to compete in two tournaments during the holiday break.  In the first tournament, the Eagles finished as runner-up for the second consecutive year in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic and then won their fifth straight championship in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic.

First up for the Eagles was competition in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic on December 27th and 28th at Haja Rosebowl Lanes.  The men's division was comprised of 31 teams and approximately 240 bowlers with RMU earning second place for the second year in a row.  Bryan Bourget (SO/Woonsocket, R.I.) finished in fourth place to earn All-Tournament Team honors, while Dakota Vostry (SO/Bolingbrook, Ill.) took 11th place and Michael Martell (SO/Brooklyn, N.Y.) came in 31st place.

RMU then competed in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic on December 29th and 30th at AMF Parkway Lanes, and the Eagles took home their fifth consecutive championship in this event, which also had 31 teams and approximately 240 bowlers.  Martell was the team's top finisher this time around in 13th place, while Bourget finished in 15th place and Vostry ended the competition in 27th place.

Next up for the Eagles is their annual home tournament, the Roto Grip Eagles Baker Challenge, which will be held on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th at Stardust Lanes in Addison, Illinois.  The event will begin at 11am on January 14th and at 8:30am on January 15th with 65 teams competing, including all RMU Bowling teams.
